After taking a degree in Modern Languages (German and French) at Oxford, Margaret May spent most of her career as a non-fiction academic editor.
She has a long-standing in literary translation, and a few years ago she gained the CIOL Diploma in Translation. In 2018 she completed an MRes degree at the University of London’s Institute of Modern Languages Research. Her dissertation on an aspect of German-Jewish literature included research on Barbara Honigmann’s work. (2019)Issue 13 - Winter 2018
