UniKent Translators 2019 are a group of final year students of German at the University of Kent, Canterbury (UK), who have collaborated on the translation of Björn Kuhligk’s poem “Das Gedicht geht durch einen Körper und grüsst nicht mal” in the context of a module on contemporary literature in German. The translation group was led by Heide Kunzelmann, module teacher and Senior Lecturer in German at the Department of Modern Languages

Contributing to the translation were: Isabel Cardwell, Jeremy Carr, Joseph Fulton, Hanifah Hashim-Subhan, Joseph Johnson, Jenny Leppard, and Adam Millward, all final year students of German Language and Literature at the University of Kent, Canterbury, UK; and Lor Mclain-Smith, a student of World Literature at the University of Kent, Canterbury.
