Steven Uhly

Steven Uhly * 6 June 1964 in Cologne, is a German-Bengali author, translator and publisher. He finished his studies of German, Spanish and Portuguese (languages and literature) with a dissertation on Multiple Personalities as Poesy.
His debut novel Mein Leben in Aspik from 2010 (My Pickled Life, literally: My Life in Aspic) received a great deal of media attention. He has since then written two further novels including Adams Fuge (Adam’s Fugue) which received the Munich Tukan Prize in 2011. His latest novel Gl├╝ckskind has just been released by Secession Verlag.”
