Steven Uhly * 6 June 1964 in Cologne, is a German-Bengali author, translator and publisher. He finished his studies of German, Spanish and Portuguese (languages and literature) with a dissertation on Multiple Personalities as Poesy.
His debut novel Mein Leben in Aspik from 2010 (My Pickled Life, literally: My Life in Aspic) received a great deal of media attention. He has since then written two further novels including Adams Fuge (Adam’s Fugue) which received the Munich Tukan Prize in 2011. His latest novel Glückskind has just been released by Secession Verlag.”
