Marie Gamillscheg, born in 1982 in Graz, currently lives in Berlin where she works as a freelance journalist for ZEIT Campus and other publications. She has received several awards, including the Graz City Literature Grant (2015), the New German Fiction Prize (2016), and the Klagenfurt Literature Course Award (2016). Her work has been published in several magazines and anthologies, including Edit, Lichtungen, Poet and Literarische Welt. Alles was glänzt (2018) is her first full-length novel and has been shortlisted in the Austrian Book Prize Debut category.
