Fiona Graham

Fiona Graham studied German and French in Oxford and Tübingen, followed by linguistics in Reading.

Her career has been mainly in translating and editing at the Dutch Foreign Office and in EU institutions.

Since 2015 she has been reviews editor at the Swedish Book Review. Her published translations include Elisabeth Åsbrink’s 1947: When Now Begins (Scribe, 2017), an English PEN award-winner longlisted for the 2018 Warwick Prize for Women in Translation and the 2019 JQ Wingate Prize. In 2015 she came second in Geisteswissenschaften International’s first non-fiction translation contest. In 2018 she took part in New Books in German’s programme for emerging literary translators. Fiona currently lives in Belgium.    (2019)
