Farnaz Riedel is a German citizen of Persian origin, with a 20-year stint as an American. She has resettled several times throughout her 46 years, and currently resides with her family in Berlin.
Farnaz has 25 years of experience in advertising, first as an English copywriter, and later as a creative director. She has worked for a variety of coveted clients, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Sony, Siemens, British Airways, Lufthansa, and Virgin, to name (drop) a few. She also supports several German start-ups, in everything from name and identity creation, to web content and film scripts.
Although the majority of her work is originated in English, Farnaz occasionally translates German writing, such as the short stories of Konstantin Arnold. Besides her professional writing, she is also passionate about poetry (still unpublished), and pottery. Farnaz holds a B.A. in Biological Basis of Behavior, and Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.
