Edward Larkin

Edward T. Larkin received his Ph.D. in Germanic Languages and Literatures from the University of Pennyslvania in 1986, and has been teaching in the German Program at the University of New Hampshire ever since.

Besides essays on numerous German and Austrian authors, he has published as translations Narratives of Loving Resistance: Two Stories by Erich Hackl (Ariadne Press, 2006) and Carl Wilhelm Frölich’s On Man and his Circumstances, a translation of Über den Menschen und seine Verhältnisse (Peter Lang, 2017). He collaborated with Thomas Ahrens on Leo Perutz, Between Nine and Nine (Ariadne, 2010) and Erich Hackl, Argentina’s Angel (Piscataqua, 2014).        (2019)
