Joscha Klueppel is a third-year PhD student in the Department of German and Scandinavian at the University of Oregon.
After receiving a B.A. in Scandinavian Studies and English at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen, Germany, he started his studies in Eugene in 2017. His research focus is on 21st century German literature, in particular the German-Bosnian author Saša Stanišic.
He is currently thinking about ways to bring contemporary literature in conversation with decolonization. Other interests include Translation Studies, Affect Studies, and the poetry of Yevgeniy Breyger. (2020)
