Hendrik Rost

Hendrik Rost is considered one of the foremost poets of his generation. He was born in 1969 in Burgsteinfurt, Westphalia. After studying German literature and philosophy in Kiel and Düsseldorf, he now lives as a free author and translator in Hamburg. He has received countless prizes and awards for his work, including the Clemens-Brentano-Preis and the Dresdner Lyrikpreis. His recent collections of poetry include Im Atemweg des Passagiers (2006), Der Pilot in der Libelle (2010), Licht für andere Augen (2013) and Das Liebesleben der Stimmen (2016), all published by Wallstein Verlag.
