Konstantin Arnold is a German writer based in Lisbon, who works for international magazines and newspapers to afford olives and red wine on Friday nights.
Living what he writes, Konstantin’s short stories take us to poetic worlds, narrating his adventures around the globe and capturing overlooked details of a fast-paced world.
Konstantin is a man who chooses to march behind time, savoring each moment’s purity, while searching for inspiration and true human connection in an increasingly uniform world perfectly styled for Instagram. The 29-year-old is free of social constraints, both in person and in his writing, as he transforms a wealth of profound yet fleeting thoughts into potent prose. His stories are published by renowned media such as the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Die Welt, Der Spiegel, and Vice. His first book, Letters from Lisbon, will be published in 2020 and cinematically realized in the short movie “Libertin”.
Konstantin has studied photography and journalism in Australia, New Zealand, Germany, and Portugal.
