Inger-Maria Mahlke (1977) received the German Book Prize in 2018 for her novel ‘Archipel’. Originally from Schleswig-Holstein, Mahlke studied Law in Berlin and continues to live there. Mahlke has written three previous novels including Silberfischchen (2010), which received the Klaus-Michael Kühne Prize and Wie Ihr wollt (2015), which was shortlisted for the German Book Prize.
