Antonia Baum

Antonia Baum (*1984) edits the arts section of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung Sunday edition. She has published a collection of short stories and two novels, both of which have been well received by reviewers.
Her debut novel was published as early as 2011 and features in the Spring 2015 ‘New Books in German’ Issue 37 with an extract translation by Stefan Tobler. This first novel is called ‘Vollkommen leblos, bestenfalls tot’ with a working English title of ‘Completely lifeless, preferably dead’. It was shortlisted for the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize in its year of publication.
