Selim
Özdogan was born in 1971 and grew up speaking German and Turkish.
He dropped out of university after studying anthropology, English literature
and philosophy, has had various jobs and has been publishing his writing
since 1995. His books include the novels Zwischen zwei Träumen,
Die Tochter des Schmieds, Im Juli and Es ist so einsam im Sattel,
seit das Pferd tot ist, along with various short story collections.
