Rosmarie Waldrop's recent poetry books are Curves to the Apple, Blindsight (both New Directions), and Love, Like Pronouns (Omnidawn). Driven to Abstraction is forthcoming in 2010. She has translated, from the French, Edmond Jabès, Jacques Roubaud (most recently, with Keith Waldrop, The Form of a City Changes Faster, Alas, Than the Human Heart (Dalkey Archive)) and Emmanuel Hocquard; from the German, Friederike Mayröcker, Elke Erb, Oskar Pastior, Gerhard Rühm, and Ulf Stolterfoht (for whose Lingos I-IX she received the PEN Award for Poetry in Translation, 2008). She lives in Providence, RI. where she co-edits Burning Deck books with Keith Waldrop. (2009)
