Nicholas Grindell (UK) has been
living and working in Berlin as a translator since 1993. Besides his current
freelance work (mainly art-related) and extended partnerships with the Fraunhofer
Gesellschaft (laser technology, software engineering) and the Frankfurter
Allgemeine Zeitung (arts and society articles for the short-lived English
edition), he has translated plays (Elfriede Jelinek, Gesine Danckwart),
short prose (Ulrike Draesner, Claudius
Hagemeister) and poetry (Monika Rinck,
Hendrik Jackson).
