Ken
Cockburn lives in Edinburgh and works as a freelance poet, editor,
translator and writing tutor. His translations of poems by Arne Rautenberg
and other German writers are collected in Feathers and Lime (The
Caseroom Press, 2007), and he contributed several translations to The
night begins with a question: XXV Austrian Poems 1978-2002 (Carcanet,
2007). A new collection of poems, On the Fly Leaf, was recently published
by Luath Press, and he was awarded the Arts Foundation Fellowship for Literary
