Chenxin Jiang was born in Singapore and grew
up in Hong Kong. She is a recent graduate of Princeton University, where
she studied comparative literature. Chenxin presently lives and works
in London, where she has led workshops on translating Chinese poetry for
the Poetry Translation Centre. She received a commendation in the 2010
John Dryden Translation Competition, and is the 2011 recipient of the
Susan Sontag Prize for Translation, as well as a 2011 PEN Translation
Fund grant. Chenxin's translations of Jan Wagner's poems have also appeared
in Poetry London and World Literature Today. (2011)
