After
studying sociology and philosophy at Surrey University, Andrew
Boreham took a post-graduate degree in philosophy at Edinburgh
University. He has been living in Berlin since 1979. After teaching English
for some years, he trained as a translator in the 1990s and has been a
full-time freelance translator since 2001. His translations have appeared
in a wide-range of publications and include A Nation in Barracks
by Ute Frevert (2004 - with Daniel Brückenhaus). He is at present
preparing translations of a selection of Klaus Holzkamp's papers for publication
in 2010. (2009)
