Robert Priest is a poet and songwriter. His words have been debated in the legislature, posted in the Transit system, quoted in the Farmer's Almanac, sung on Sesame Street and turned into hit songs. Born in the U.S., Jim Christy left that country in 1968 in protest at its social policies and soon became a Canadian citizen. He has published 25 books, covered numerous wars as a reporter, exhibited his art internationally and recorded CDs of music and poetry.

Jordan Zinovich is a Canadian who lives in New York City. He is a Senior Editor for Autonomedia Publishing Collective and a member of the Amsterdam Balloon Company. His books include novels, poetry, and most recently Tantric Picnic (English translation of Dutch author Hans Plomp's India stories).

Moderator: Karen Margolis
Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, she grew up in South Africa and London. Author of several books, she has lived in Berlin for almost 30 years as a writer, poet, journalist and editor.
